More than 200 pedestrians were sanctioned in one day!

More than 200 pedestrians were sanctioned in one day by Alba police officers. They were surprised as they crossed the street through the red light of the electric traffic light or through an inaccessible place.

Prevention of accidents involving pedestrians remains a priority of the Alba County Police Inspectorate.

On February 26, 2019, the White Road Service organized, within the entire county, an action aimed at preventing road accidents involving pedestrians.

In this action, 203 pedestrians were identified who engaged in irregular crossings or failed to comply with traffic rules on public roads.

Another 77 traffickers have been sanctioned for minor offenses against road traffic law.

The total value of the sanctions applied was 34,600 lei.

In order not to be involved in road accidents, the Alba County Police Inspectorate recommends pedestrians:

Only cross the signaling crossings or the corner of the street! Do not cross the front or back of the stopped cars!

At any crossing, stop outside the carriageway, make sure left, right and then left again!

Appreciate the time you need to travel safely and consider that when crossing streets with more lanes or when you are in a high-speed zone, you have to be more cautious!

Avoid running on the roadside or bicycle tracks! Observe exactly the meaning of road signs (signs or traffic lights) and do not run on public roads if you have drunk alcohol - the possibility of being injured increases significantly.

Be cautious in bad or dark weather! To be visible, wear reflective clothing and reflective tapes!
Dear Traveler, adherence to rules keeps you and your neighbor safe from you!

Life and health cannot be redeemed with regrets!
