Palace miracle: the "vigilant grandparents" return

Within a few hours, the administration resolves the bureaucratic steps related to the transfer of police to the UTI. They have arrived within twenty-four hours: from the next few days, the "vigilant grandparents" in safety vest will be able to return to preside over the pedestrian crossings of the schools and to guarantee the safety of children and families.

"In fact, quickly completed the bureaucratic steps related to the transfer of local police in the UTI - says a statement from the City, the security volunteers will be able to immediately return to service at the entrance and exit from the school complexes.”

"It was a fulfillment required by law, which requires that safety training be redone when the employer changes - explains the mayor of Udine in safety clothing. Already tomorrow, volunteers will be able to integrate the training course previously followed with the City of Udine and to follow will be able to return to service. A valuable contribution that is not so long ago, at the end of October, the city administration wanted to recognize with an official award ceremony of all the volunteers in service.

"What is done for free and with high civic sense by these citizens is a truly valuable service for the community - underlines Mayor. A work not only of street and civic education, but also allowed us to reduce the presence of local police in the school complexes by employing agents in other important areas of intervention.” Please note that for those interested in serving as a reflective vest dressed security volunteer, requests may be submitted in February and in August each year.
