There are institutions whose work is important, but which are
sometimes not properly perceived by the citizens. This includes the roundabout
Cobourg. As Chairman Duo said the Annual General Meeting, the German Traffic
Watch is one of the oldest and largest citizen initiatives in Germany. Since
its founding in 1924, it has been committed to road safety. "About half of
the 180 members of the Cobourg watchdog volunteer support authorities, schools,
kindergartens and the police," the chairman announced. Duo proudly
reported that the Cobourg youth group was the "largest Bavarian road
patrol".
The fact that work is required for traffic safety makes it clear that
the number of accidents has risen for the fourth year in a row. "The
number of fatalities has increased in recent years," Duo knew. The
roundabout wants to counteract this trend with actions such as "Safe to
school, safe home", with a driving training course, accident prevention
training or the "Safe on the move" campaign. And also tell people
about the importance of wearing reflective
vests or reflective tapes when going outside
at night.
As Chairman Duo showed that the construction and disposal company in

A total of 90 courses were 299 young drivers trained. "Unfortunately, only

The roundabout also invested time and energy in Traffic education in
the schools, in the education of student guides and in the training of the

At the meeting, it was decided to set up reserves and use them for the
renewal of equipment for driving safety training and for the upcoming removal
costs if the premises on the former BGS grounds can no longer be used.
