In our mosaic of running shorts mosaic, another piece is growing. In the upcoming summer heat, the runner would not wear himself or anything else. Compared to others, however, these reflective shirts have one distinct difference - the inner part of natural materials. Would you appreciate it?
As well as the other shorts, these are also those of today's fashionable "two in one" category .The outer, loose black shorts are made of 100% polyester, they look very simple, but only at first glance, let's leave the reflective logo of the manufacturer at the bottom of the left Trousers that contribute to better visibility in the dark, and on both sides we find ventilation holes cut by laser, their ends are not shaken and do not tend to tear, but what personally surprised me on the outer layer of the shorts are the pockets.
Basically, whenever I run, I wonder where to put the keys - and I want them to be nice under the zipper. I want to be quickly accessible and securely stored, for example, not to jump into the nettles until I have a steep hill. Apparently somebody at Icebreaker can read my thoughts because they've got their new shorts turned exactly in that direction. In the middle of the back is a zipper pocket with reflective fabric. Just next to it a cross-pocket with an elasticized trim that holds all the contents inside. Beauty! Finally, one of the manufacturers realized that one pocket-sized pocket with a single key is really little for today's runner-up to see the latest trends.
My enthusiasm for these guys went inward. There you will not find a conventional synthetic cloth, but merino wool. Over 60% wool in combination with other natural material Tinsel supplemented with nylon and lira to make it all springy. And the wave is so important on the inner slips. First of all, you have plenty of natural material on your body and you enjoy all the benefits of merino wool - good thermoregulation in winter and heat, good moisture removal and, above all, natural antibacterial. So you do not smile right after half an hour of training as a raccoon bag. The wool liner is cleverly pulled over the top seam of the trousers. Even in the most challenging parts of the upper hem you touch the natural material.
Everything in place should hold an elastic waist and a stretch elastic web. And that was the source of my biggest disappointment. The idea is good - the cloth should not stick to the hips and clutter you like a steel hoop oak barrel for wine. Even in practice, it turns out that the cloth is too elastic. I need to pull it off a lot to hold on to my character. The bobbin is very long and it's not easy to orient it when you need to loosen the laces. The elasticity of the laces does not know the limits, so when the shorts are optimally held and I put in the keys and the phone, my shorts start to get out of my hips in the direction of gravity after a short time. And that's not entirely good (especially for those innocent girls in the parks).
Overall, however, I rate the shorts very positively. Finally, some of the pleasant natural reflective materials, in addition, are extremely functional and do not require too much a washing machine. I'll swap the string for some stronger and get out of it - we'll be experiencing the full crossover summer in my dear presence.
