Win your visibility kit

AGEA, France blue and Road Safety at the time of the change of time offer you the opportunity to win a kit of visibility including 1 yellow safety vest with reflective strips, 1 yellow backpack with reflective fabrics.

The transition to winter time is synonymous with a significant increase in the number of road accident victims, particularly among the most vulnerable, pedestrians and cyclists.

At night falling an hour earlier, pedestrians and cyclists are less visible due to this lack of brightness.

Friday, October 26, a special broadcast on France Bleu Saint Etienne Loire from 9 am with AGEA and road safety.

Win your visibility kit.

Gilet Held Flashlight led

Visibility of the rider is already a problem in broad daylight, especially because of distracted motorists. In other words, at night or in bad weather, it becomes invisible. To remedy this, Held offers the Flashlight LED vest that uses clever lighting.

With winter approaching, the night is coming sooner and earlier, and it is not the change of time (at the end of this month) that will make things better. Those who do not particularly like to feel vulnerable when they drive at night, whether in the city or in the open country, could look with interest at the new Flashlight LED that Held is about to market. Fluorescent and with large retro-reflective bands, it can especially, if its wearer considers it necessary, turn on to bring a surplus of visibility for a few hours.

Designed for the bike, the Flashlight LED vest seems cut to be the least floating possible, which is always welcome when you want to ride out of the big boulevards. The closure is via a central zip and most of the front and back surfaces are fluo yellow while the shoulders, back and bust accommodate very large panels or retro-reflective tapes that make the reflective vest wearer clearly visible once in the light of the headlights. Where this vest stands out is that Held has integrated long LEDs, called HLS (for Held Lighting System). In addition to the filaments clearly visible in the photos, the HLS amplifies the lighting of the light bands. So we are far from the gadget type "Christmas tree"; besides, the HLS is manufactured by Osram.

To turn them on, simply put a USB battery, like the "powerbank" dear to many smartphone users, in a dedicated waterproof pocket. Held says that with a small battery model, the battery life is nearly 7 hours. It should not be seen as a system to use for several hours in a row. On the other hand, the idea seems to us appreciable for those who want to make themselves more visible on the handlebars, or on foot, once the motorcycle parked on the side of road. Not to mention increased safety when it comes to avoiding the over-crash.

Available in a single shade and from XS to 5XL, the Held Flashlight LED vest is displayed at 89.95 and is high visibility since EN 1150 certified (the opposite would have been damn amazing).

Safe, because of the reflection

The WRD police officers handed out reflective tapes to students of the SP No. 5. There were also a talk and themes on how to use the road on the subject of their application.

Magdalena and Sergeant. Barrows held a lecture with students from the University of Silesia No. 5. Classes were an opportunity to discuss what children know about basic traffic regulations. Therefore, during the meeting, the police asked students questions to talk about whether the rules mentioned by the children are interpreted correctly.

There was also an opportunity to summarize the art competition on road traffic and to award children with diplomas and gifts. Everyone also received a reflective tape from the policemen. Worn on the sleeve will make every student more visible on the road.

Demonstration of wheelchair basketball

Motivation Foundation Romania invites the public to an unprecedented sporting event.

Wheelchair users, athletes of Motivation from the North East region, will make a demonstration of wheelchair basketball on Friday. September 28, 2018, at 5:00 pm, on the plateau at the Royal Court in Piatra Neamt.

"From 18:00 we will join our bicycle friends at the Critical Mass to go along the route through the city."

The event aims to bring to the attention of the public the skills that people with disabilities have, to promote the benefits of sport and to bring together people united by the same passion for movement. The spectators will have the opportunity to attend a different basketball match where the dribbling and panning are performed differently from a wheelchair but bring the same satisfaction to the team.

We're moving the Wheel of Change! Come and support the real champions

Important! Bicyclists who will participate in the latest edition of Critical Mass this year need to prepare with thicker clothes, not to forget the reflective vest and helmet, and the bicycle to be equipped with an appropriate signaling system (front white light, red light back).
