The police force will

The Local Police
has joined the Emergency Radio communication System of the State, Side, which
facilitates coordination with security forces and other teams, such as the

The announcement
was made by the mayor of Caceres at the headquarters of the local police. Since
this company is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of this
service, it happens throughout the national territory. Guillermo explained that
Side is a digital radio communication network «of the State, which operates Telephonic
and based on the tetragon standard» like that used by other European countries
such as France or Switzerland, set up by the Ministry of the Interior and that
covers everything the country. The network is "private, completely outside
the networks for public use, a frequency band that is owned by the Ministry is
used, which ensures privacy and has a total availability, virtually never falls
when there are catastrophes or emergencies", added Santa in safety
clothing. The network, therefore, facilitates voice and secure data
communications and quality in all types of situations, because it uses a
frequency band different from commercial radio networks, which in turn prevents

This network
facilitates "that each body functions in an independent manner, in this
case the Local Police, the National Police, the Civil Guard, but allows much
greater coordination in an emergency situation or lack of security," said
the director of Telephonic in Extremadura, as well as facilitating the location
of terminals. The Ministry of the Interior opens this network to incorporate
other administrations. The municipality is the first one that has adhered to
