Bicycle trip

Pupils from the 7th elementary school named Kornel Makuszyński went on a bicycle ride. Equipped with reflective materials, they took the direction of Tyniec.

The students put on warm clothes in the morning and met at the school. This time, instead of books, they packed sandwiches and drinks instead of books.

Before the start Elwira Biel, the headmistress handed out reflective vests, because the trip was organized as part of the "Reflective School" program.

The students were also visited by Roman Gdula, a bicycle officer from Skawina, who brought the appropriate vests (with high light reflective tapes sewn-on it)so that every student could be clearly seen. He also reminded how to navigate the roads and gave the rules of driving in the group.

So prepared they set out on a tour. They were not daunted by the foggy weather. As informs Fr. Feosol Rapacz, a participant of a cycling expedition, students from JaśKiwis first defeated the asphalt public road, then they headed for a bicycle path and finally a dirt road.

In Tyniec, a beautiful son and Father Leon waited for cyclists. Monk joyfully showed them around the monastery, and the guide told the story of the abbey.

The participants, of the trip traveled 45km. They returned home with maps "Lesser Poland for bicycles" and "Treasures near Cracow". The expedition implemented as part of the "Reflective School" program was also an opportunity to present a safe bicycle outfit.
