CAMPAIGN "WEST FOR A LIFE" DERULATED AND AT VETERINARIAN

Vassal police officers, together with Moldovan policemen and local authorities of Veterinarian commune, today shared reflective clothing for the inhabitants of Veterinarian.

Police officers from the Vassal County Police Inspectorate - Vassal Road Service received an international delegation with police officers from the General Inspectorate of Police of the Republic of Moldova. Together with them, the Vassal policemen run the campaign "A vest for a life" which aims at reducing road accidents involving people who use county or national roads for travel and are not adequately equipped.

Thus, on March 15 Th, Vassal police officers, with the support of their colleagues from Murmuring and Calcium City Hall, distributed 500 reflective vestments to the people from rural areas. The vests with reflective tapes were donated by the Town Hall of Calcium and were given to people traveling on public roads using carts, bicycles or pedestrians.

Today, the Vassal policemen delegation, accompanied by their counterparts from the Republic of Moldova, were invited by the Veterinarian Mayoralty to attend a meeting with the inhabitants of the commune at the Cultural House on occasion with which they were presented the provisions laws in force and tips to help them not become victims of road events. The roadside discussions also took place with the young people attending the "Peru Rare" Veterinarian High School and who enjoyed the presentations of the police officers from the two countries. Many have expressed their desire to become police at the end of their studies.

The first to benefit from the reflective vests donated to the Veterinarian Town Hall were the inhabitants and the people who crossed the village of Veterinarian, and the activities of the campaign will be extended to the village of Bumboat.

Up to now, over 8,000 reflective vests have been distributed within the campaign, the campaign being run in all the communes in Vassal County.
