Safety vest workwear for worker’s safe

Perhaps the workplace of the 33-year-old is the hottest of the city on this day, for which the German Weather Service yesterday issued a heat warning. It may be hotter, perhaps, only at the blast furnaces of the steelworks, Menninger suspects. His colleagues and he paved the track of the line 4 with wear safety clothing, they have been there since seven o'clock, and only the trees at the edge donate some shade. "180 degrees from below and 30 degrees from above," says the wheel loader, whose taut upper body is strongly browned. He usually wears a cap at such temperatures, but he also wants to brown his face evenly.

Menninger wears sunglasses and uses sun cream; many of his colleagues do not. He is in a good mood - although his shift is twelve hours long and not until 19 hours. There is only one thing that really upsets him: "You're always hot." Henning eats lye sticks to restore to his body the salt he loses by sweating. For breakfast, there was watermelon, "what refreshing". Breaks do not make Henning more often than on other days - the pressure is great on the construction site, when the summer holidays are over, it has to be finished.

"We have to get out of our way for five minutes every now and then," Kendal Celia says, working a few hundred yards further along the tracks and dragging straight on the curb. He pulled out his T-shirt; he wears the safety vest over the free upper body. He drinks four liters a day, says Celia. Sometimes his colleague’s splash and he is wet with the water of a hydrant to cool down. "Otherwise, there is no way to get fresh." The 34-year-old buys his drinks in the supermarket a few meters further. Some companies, such as the Bremen-based Mercedes-Benz plant, supply their employees with free mineral water in summer. Or they place fans in the workrooms. This is not possible at the construction site. While his employer provides additional water, Kendal Celia says - "but that is too far away". Weaknesses had already existed on the construction site, because suddenly there was a long one.

From the construction site to the seniors' home: here, too, sweats are being made, and here too many of the inhabitants wear kepi like the construction workers and eat melons. To drink a lot, that's the most important, says David. "There are inhabitants who love the warmth and sit in the blazing sun," says the nursing manager of the Evangelical Deaconess Mother's House in Bremen. Older people often felt no thirst and often forgot to drink. Even if no one has collapsed in his facility this summer: in the emergency rooms of the Bremen hospitals, there have already been some cases of dehydration in the past few days. Even people who had to deal with cardiovascular complaints because of the heat were taken to the clinics. "Many of the residents complain of dizziness," says Nasik.

"The weather is very demanding for seniors", confirms Antje Sorensen of the Bremer. Especially after the long winter, which fed on the strengths of the high-earned? The house management therefore offers to the inhabitants light soups or cold dishes - they should not lie in the bed despite the warmth. Marlon Henning, the brown-tanned construction worker from the tracks, knows how to end his day after twelve hours in the heat of the heat: "In the lake - or a walk in the forest." The exhaustion, he says, he can only feel later.

Heat warning of the German Weather Service
Wednesday, there is again a heat warning of the German weather service for Bremen. Such a warning is issued if the temperature exceeds 32 degrees Celsius for two consecutive days. However, this threshold is variable. "At the beginning of June, for example, if people are not yet adapted to the temperatures, we are warned at lower values," explains Christina in reflective vest, a medical meteorologist at the German Weather Service. There is an additional condition that must be fulfilled before a heat warning is issued: "At night, it does not cool too much." For cooling means for the human organism the possibility to regenerate itself.

Responsibility for the classmates in safety vest

Eleven school members, ten girls and one boy, received their appointments on Friday after successful training. For this, a safety vest was handed over to everyone, so that the school instructors should be noticed in their assignments and their function should be recognized, according to Natasha Bugler from Wurzburg, the diocesan referees for the school ambulance service.

A medical backpack with dressing material, gloves, respiratory masks, and scissors and so on is deposited in the school. The training took place with the Maltese. Peter Kirchner was the deputy district commissioner.

The training of the school anis from the 8M was divided for the medical service, with theory and case examples, according to Linda, one of the co-initiators. All theory and practice was finished with an examination. Teacher, instructor and diocesan, and, of course, Rector, were delighted that the schoolteachers were so committed and hoped that this will continue. The building is the building of the middle school, with school members providing first aid in the case of accidents and, if necessary, during school holidays.

Natasha in safety clothing still pointed out the first nationwide action night of the Maltese youth. On 21 and 22 November, the dioceses of Osnabruck and Hildesheim will organize this action night, in which all groups, as well as individuals from Maltese youth and schooling services, can participate in services or groups.

For this action night, tasks are sent by e-mail on various topics. Internet access and digital camera and even a personal cuddly toy from each participant the organizers. The tasks should be managed as quickly as possible and creatively. Each photo must be shot and sent to the organizer. By the way there is enough time to make the evening and then the night free. The participants are all in reflective vest, the pictures are judged by a jury. The best group wins a prize.

Safety vest for Children's birthday at the airport

At least once a year, the parents are planning the next childbirth day. Again and again the same question arises: What are we going to do this time? The Düsseldorf airport has extended its excursion offer with a new special tour: the children's birthday tour. The entertaining, but also instructive party with safety education always goes on Fridays from 2.30 to 4.30 pm.

At their birthday at the airport, the children between the ages of five and twelve are close to the airport day with their siblings and friends. During an apron tour, the children have the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of the airport and admire the aircraft close up. The young guests experience the lively operation on the apron and on the runways. It is fascinating how the giant machines stand out from the ground. And how tiny are the people. This impressive birthday experience will surely not forget the little ones.

Child-friendly information, an airport meeting game, a lunch pack and a souvenir a special children's safety vest - all this is offered during the birthday tour. The birthday child himself also receives a corresponding gift. Before or after the guided tour, the young guests can then stop at the McDonald's restaurant or at the Airport ice cream parlor, which offers special offers especially for children's birthdays.

An average of about 600 take-offs and landings per day take place at NRW's largest airport. Up to 25,000 visitors use the opportunity to experience the happenings on the apron during the daily airport tours once a year. In addition to the normal round trips, the airport also offers special photo tours for large and small airport fans with reflective vest.

A mix of love parade, protest ride and bike trip

At 7 pm, this time the meeting point should be. A few hours before, he was only announced on the Internet. Like every last Friday of the month when Hamburg cyclists in reflective vest meet for the critical-mass-tour through the city. Just 20 minutes later, the big square is already occupied by thousands of cyclists: you are in small groups, talking, music is booming from loudspeakers, some mounted on small trailers. Just like Andy. The 41-year-old, tall cyclist is something like a veteran of the Hamburg Critical Mass rides. "A few years ago there were only a few, now we are thousands," he says.

Cyclists in their bright jerseys are standing there, next to them a man with a St. Pauli Hoodie and rusty folding bike. A group of girls, maybe 20 years old, holds large colorful Holland wheels and chatter happily. Gray-haired couples, wearing helmet and safety vest, are standing by, a group has adorned their bicycles with colorful flowers and sunglasses. Men with heavy touring bikes wait, hipster with beard and dark glasses pushing their fashionable entrance bikes through the crowd. A colorful city between the beginning of the 20th and beginning of the seventies has gathered here.

Then the crowd sensed a feeling of unrest, the conversations became louder, somebody began to ring, more and more ringing, some lift their wheel up into the skies of Hamburg: the "bike up", the start signal. Like a herd of horses, for which it goes from the stable to pasture, the mass moves in the direction of movement. Above the convoy, bass-dominated music hovers, pedestrians waving, pull their Smartphone to take pictures. Andy also joins in; his music has now fully turned up: "Techno, AC / DC, Evergreens," he plays, "that is always good". The first meters he has to push, and then she rolls on, the Critical Mass, the critical mass of the thousands, which once a month slides through the city like a Blindworm and for a short time forcing the otherwise dominant to a halt.

Around 3500 bikers will have ended up according to the police in reflective uniform, who bend about three hours in a two-kilometer-long Polk crises-crossing on the wide streets through the city center. "We do not hinder traffic, we are traffic" - that is the message. They would have to register; there would be those responsible, which could be held liable, in the case of accidents. The participants, however, simply rely on the road traffic regulations, which allow cycling in the association from 16 cyclists. If a traffic light shows red, the bandage continues to cycle. There is indicated by hand signals, where it should be long. Like a swarm, which suddenly changes direction, so the Radvolk meanders through the city? However, one change with the lead, which is cycling in the front, discusses with the others: the goal is only at the end only really fixed.

The Critical-Mass movement was created in San Francisco in 1992. In the meantime, they exist in more than 300 cities worldwide - with an increasing trend. In the masses one is only perceived as a traffic user, it says on the relevant Internet pages. One wants to show that the wheel is an equivalent to the car - or better. Just as cars dominate the cities, the Critical Mass cyclists also want to determine traffic. Nowhere else in Germany is the number of participants as great as in Hamburg. Almost 5,000 were in July of last year, more than twice as many as in Berlin. Why? Perhaps the suffering pressure of the cyclists in Hamburg is greatest. "Maybe it's the fun factor," says Andy in safety vest. Music supporters are at the same time at the Elbe, there is even a sausage trailer.

Twilight autumn and winter so your children are better seen

3 things you need to know
Children without reflective clothing are seen by drivers so late that they may not be able to brake in time
Reflective elements are easy to retrofit
For school bags and safety clothing pay attention to the DIN standard

A child who is dressed darkly sees a car driver only at a distance of about 30 meters, brightly clad is it with 40 meters just 10 meters more. Compared to how long a car needs to stop, this is - depending on the speed - in many cases too late! If the child carries a reflective safety vest, it is about 130 meters wide! This is enough for a driver to drive at a speed of 100 km / h.

This will enlighten your child
For school bags and clothing, which should reflect properly, it is important to pay attention to the DIN standard. For the satchels it is called DIN 58124, for clothing DIN EN 13356.
If the children are to be well visible even with normal clothing, they can be easily retrofitted: reflective tapes, reflective vests, reflex safety collars or reflective patches - the choice is great.

In times of the LED you will also find many garments and gadgets that glow and flash: caps, chains, rings, glowing shoe bands. This however please rather as a supplement sees. To the visibility of the reflector strips do not come.

And then we have a tip that has nothing to do with the clothes: give your child enough time for the school way! When the little ones get away in time, they are not under pressure and less break neck.

Dress warmly! Road bike winter safety wear tested

There is no bad weather, there is only the wrong clothes" is an often cited proverb. If the temperatures fall into the single-digit range, you have to pull all the stops on the road bike in order not to cool down during longer trips - Gloves, helmets, safety vest and overall. There are matching products are therefore essential for road cyclists.

With the right equipment, passing through or a very early morning start into the new season is no problem. These include warm warmth, long-finger gloves and a cap under the helmet. For hardly anything can lessen the desire for cycling more than the attempt to switch with completely deaf fingers or kick with ice blocks into the crank.

This is why Road BIKE has 8 caps, reflective gloves and more and excess for the application range between 0 degrees and 10 degrees Celsius. This means that the heaters are not only suitable for the winter outing, but also provide good service during long pass-offs or training sessions in the spring and autumn.

Pleasing: A lot can be achieved with comparatively little money. For example, the cheapest combination of the test products with BBB cap, Gloves from Specialized and Value’s surplus costs only about 75 Euros. If you go in the full, however, can also easily spend four times.

To test all safety products, the RB testers said: Get out of the comfortably warm editorial offices, get out into the cold, often wet weather on the street in the last few weeks. At least 1 hour, products and test drivers had to endure.

The reflective fabric trends for summer 2017

The new reflective fabric trends for the spring-summer season 2017, which have just been shown at the Performance Days in Munich, are likely to inspire sports and fashion brands alike: there has never been such a great deal of fashionable optics for sport. The materials of the future are becoming lighter, more flexible and softer. They promise to wear comfort, which is long since also interested the classic fashion customers. "37.4 percent of the visitors agree to the fashion sector," says Stefanie Sakharov of the Performance Days, summarizing the visitor structure of the last event at the end of April. This is a considerable share for a trade fair, which has explicitly devoted itself to the functional substances. And what trends does the industry see?

More patterns, more structure, more prints
"The functional substances show a completely different picture compared to the last seasons," explains Fabrics expert Ulrike in her trend presentation. "Patterns, structures, prints and 3-dimensional fabrics are getting stronger and stronger." The change goes through the entire range, from the light knit for Base layer to the weatherproof 3-layer reflective material for jackets and trousers. Structured surfaces are achieved by new knitting and weaving methods or appear on the backs of the fabrics where they are e.g. as small 3-dimensional triangles or ovals. They give the fabric not only a futuristic look; they also serve as a spacer to the skin and thus ensure more wear comfort. Jacquards also give the fabrics new structures and patterns, as well as quilted or embossed materials, where several layers of fabric - for example by ultrasound - are fused together.

Prints had hardly played a role in the sport in the last few years, but the Cleary look was one of them. This could change, at least the fabric manufacturers will in the future rely on decorative surfaces and present flower prints, basics and geometric patterns.
In general, the trend towards particularly complex backs continues. For example, transparent jacketed fabrics are printed on the reverse side, the patterns also glimmering on the front side. Innovative reflective prints are also presented. They not only serve the safety aspect, but also deliver completely new optics through newly developed colors. Highlight is, for example, a fabric that combines prints that only partially reflect and show a completely different pattern at night than at day.
Just not clean: The performance fabric trends for summer 2017

Functionality becomes the USP
With the functions of the fabrics, the trend continues towards lighter, softer, and nevertheless hard-wearing materials. Even 3-layer materials for waterproof jackets have lost their stiffness and show a pleasantly soft feel. Elasticity is becoming the standard. Even substances, which were once developed as compressive substances, enter the regular sports and fashion collections due to their good wearing and jumping properties. Christian Weather from Agencies: "We are selling our polyamide stretch from the sports collection to pure fashion customers. They are always looking for beautiful materials for comfortable reflective pants and jackets. "

With the focus on the materiality of the fabrics, the colors move into the background. After years of bright colors, more and more natural tones return to the sport.
