Mayor Dr. Hake Aster was delighted
to be handed over by Round Table Vice-President Christa Chanteuse to Kit
Director Ina Riel for the project "Kit-Pate", which was largely
financed by donations.
"I thank Round Table very much
for this great project, which contributes to raising awareness of the dangers
to children in road traffic, makes the path to the day care much safer and
prevents accidents, especially in the dark season, reflective clothing is especially important."
Aster praised the action, which was
originally launched by the Ever Round table and is now being implemented
throughout Germany. Hartman Mira of Old Tables, who contributed to the purchase
of the West with a donation from the bake sale at the Motor Show, also took
part in the event.
In Bad Cranach and the surrounding
area, Round Table has already distributed 1,200 vests with reflective tapes free of charge to municipal kindergartens and
day-care centers, including facilities in the city center, in Bad Minster am
Stein-Webern, in Blenheim and Blenheim. The service clubs wants to equip other
day-care centers in the city.
