Accident: Contact assistance
"If an accident occurs abroad, it is essential to get all passengers of crashed vehicles to safety out of the road as quickly as possible and, if necessary, give them first aid, summon the rescue and properly mark the warning triangle. What to do when you cause an accident
If you cause an accident, you are obliged to tell the injured person all important information about yourself and about the vehicle (your name and address, the insurance company with which you are responsible, the car registration number and the green card number, etc.). Along with other participants, you have to fill out the European Road Accident Record form, add an accident plan, and take photo documentation.

Please call local police in accordance with local rules (assistance service will assist you) otherwise you will not agree with the counterparty to interpret the course of the event or not cooperate. What to do when you cannot catch an accident
If, on the other hand, you are the injured participant in an accident, practically the same procedure is followed. The owner of the vehicle that caused the collision should report the event in his country to his own insurance company with which he is liable and he / she should deal with the damage according to the documentation.
Upon returning home, you can turn directly to the guilty party's insurance company in his country, or to a national office there.

Please report theft to the local police and your insurance company
If your car is stolen while abroad, it should be reported to the local police immediately. If you have your car equipped with satellite tracking, contact the insurance assistance immediately after finding it. It can locate your car and find and return you back with local police.

Theft of the car should also be reported to an insurance company in the Czech Republic where you have insurance cover with cover for such a case, at the latest within 14 days of discovering the theft of the vehicle.
If the search is unsuccessful, the police in the country of theft will issue a resolution on the termination of the search. It is necessary to hand over the documents and keys to the car to the insurance company, which will pay you compensation within 15 days of collecting all the documents and terminating the investigation of the insured event.

Theft of things from the vehicle
If your car is stolen from abroad, the event should also report to the local police with safety vest and request a report. The procedure is the same as when the whole vehicle is stolen. Insurance of things in a car differs from the insurer's insurance company. Become acquainted with the offer of individual insurance companies, with the amount of insurance limits and with the exclusions that are not covered by the insurance.
