And so every morning there were lots of yellow "fireflies" in the schoolyard at the stamping point to pick up their stamps.

 

At the end of the campaign, the class representatives, in Corona times of course with a mask and on behalf of the whole class, received the certificates. It was worth it again: "A total of 2566 stamps could be collected, that was more than ever before," writes the school in a press release. "The great community achievement was entered in the action certificate, which is now publicly displayed in the school hallway."

 

The certificates of recognition for each class are posted in the classroom to remind all children to keep wearing the vests, especially during the darker months of the year. "Because with a vest," says headmistress Angelika Wiedau-Gottwald, "the children are much better seen on the way to school."

Last point of the decree: hunters will, every 10 years, be made aware of through training in basic safety rules, at the request of the National Federation of Hunters (FNC). "Holders of a hunting license have a period of 10 years to meet this obligation to upgrade", specifies the order of the Ministry of Ecological Transition.

 

The Departmental Federation of Hunters will be responsible for setting the terms of information and convocation. After 6 weeks in which more than 200 children and adolescents from Braila participated in the "Danube Summer School", within the County Library "Panait Istrati" the courses organized in the 60 workshops have ended.

The story of the Summer School ended on August 1, by a trip on the Danube aboard the ships "Borcea" and "Ovidiu". It was a surprise of the library for the children enrolled in the program and for the coordinators of the workshops and many of those present were overwhelmed by the beauty of the adventure on the water.

Throughout the courses, there were diverse and interesting activities, clever, creative and empathetic moderators.

"In total, there were 60 workshops within the Danube Summer School, 90% of them having a fishery theme, totaling over 700 hours of activity, each having a variable period of development. Thus, some activities were carried out during one week, others during the whole club, reaching a total of 470 workshops. On average, each day there were 253 visits, with 16 participants per workshop, totaling 7,590 visits throughout the club. In this project we've involved 30 librarians, 40 external collaborators, and 70 young volunteers, who dedicated themselves to children and their development", said Laura Caplea, spokesman of the County Library. According to the quoted source, the little ones participated in various workshops of creativity, skill, communication, meant to develop their skills. The workshops with the greatest attraction for children were those of skill, where they had the opportunity to create under the guidance and careful supervision of the coordinator's various objects, toys, paintings, which they could later take home.

Also, a great success was the creative writing workshop, where 19 talented children and young people, between the ages of 10 and 17, wrote an anthology of literary texts "Legends hidden in waves", published in Proilavia Publishing House in 350 years.

Equally interesting to the young people was the marine knot workshop, where they learned to make various types of knots, as well as to use the reflective vest and the life jacket. The teenagers were attracted to the techno-creative workshop, where they learned to build 3-knot boats, equipped with video cameras, designed to make various measurements, such as the temperature or the depth of the water, without disturbing the natural, wild environment of the Bălţi Mici area of ​​Braila.

In other workshops, children had the opportunity to make various visits to the municipality or county, where they learned the history of places, personalities, buildings and factories representative for the area in which they live. The visit to the VARD Brăila Shipyard revealed to the children some of the trades of those who work within this unit, and at the Holiday Ecobase workshop, the children discovered the beauties of the wild area of ​​Balta Mică in Brăila, following a visit with the ferry in the area.

The Danube Summer School was funded with European POPAM funds, which provided the necessary materials for the workshops, the participation of children being free, only based on the library permit. The project was financed within the Strategy for Integrated Local Development of the Fishery Zone of Brăila county with the sum of 123,576 lei, and the project manager is Corina Ciuraru, head of the service within the Library. The main topic of the activities was the fishing area of ​​Braila, the environment, the fauna and flora of these places, as well as the traditions and customs here, and the period of implementation continues until May 2020.

In Turin, electric scooters and pedal-assisted bikes with sharing are arriving. After the approval on 8 October by the Appendino of the guidelines for free-floating services, this morning the public notice for operators who want to offer these services and those of traditional bicycles, scooters were public in the praetorian register.

The first scooters should be racing through the streets of the city in November. If at the moment it is not yet possible to know if someone will decide to join, as transport councilor Maria Lapietra announced ten days ago, "there are 12 interested managers, as well as some for assisted pedaling bikes".

There is a limit of 500 units per company, which may vary according to use. The managers, for each vehicle, will have to allocate 5 euros for the MaaS platform, which will integrate the various services to move around the city (from local public transport to We Taxi, from scooters to bike sharing).

To ensure the removal of abandoned or irregularly parked vehicles, operators will have to activate a call center active 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

The notice will remain open for the next 5 years: advance deadline to 27 July 2021 for only innovative micro-electrically propelled vehicles, such as scooters.

"DO WE SEE?" - PEDESTRIANS SHOULD WEAR REFLECTIVE CLOTHING

Pedestrians in traffic should become more visible - especially in rural areas of the Czech Republic. Reflective clothing, ribbons and safety vests soon become mandatory for non-motorized road users in certain situations.

Reflective clothing can be detected about three times as far away in the night traffic as bright clothing and up to ten times greater distance than dark clothing. Exactly 200 meters. The clothing thus significantly increases the safety of road users and can avoid many accidents. From February, it will be mandatory in the Czech Republic to wear reflective clothing. The rule applies in the dark, rain or fog, outside towns where there is no sidewalk and no street lighting. Martin Farář is the head of the Road Safety Department at the Ministry of Transport:

"The requirement applies to pedestrians moving on unlit roads. When they walk by the side of the road, they are obliged to wear clothing or clothing made of reflective material in such a way that they are seen by all road users. "

For the pedestrians who go from one village to another at night, there are no exact rules on the size of the warning elements. Martin Farář explains the rules:

It is not enough to have a reflective sticker on the front of the jacket or the coat or the backpack on the back. The reflector must be visible from all sides. Most suitable for this are reflective tapes, which are worn around the wrist or ankle. It is best to carry the strip as far down as possible because the lights of the vehicles are directed downwards."

Failure to comply can result in fines of up to 2500 kroner (92 euros). The new regulation will come into effect in February. In a transitional period, the police should inform about the provision and distribute reflective tapes in the population.

Reflector duty for pedestrians comes into effect through a change in the law, signed Thursday by President Miloš Zeman. The novella includes a few more changes in the road. More security for little "beavers"

Not only parents, educators and the police want to do something about children's car accident rates, but also a club that wants to get involved in a project to equip Kitas' kids with reflective vests, which should improve road safety, "Round Table" is the name of the union of men who have set themselves the goal of social involvement in various projects.

The "Biberburg" parents Mick and Katrin Dobber had made contact with the "Round Table", more precisely to the friendly Torsten Brandenburg, which belongs to the so-called "RT Münster 48". The parents had suggested equipping also the kindergarten "Biberburg" in the course of the club project with safety vests. The police officers knew that safety vests with reflective fabrics are a tried and tested aid. However, they particularly appealed to motorists to take account of the weakest road users.
