Earthquake in Europe

The protests of the "Yellow Wafers" movement have grown and have begun to spread to other countries in Europe. The demonstration began initially in France as a peaceful protest against the increase in fuel taxes, but in the course of time things have degenerated and a struggle has been struck against the authorities.

Several Polish Protestant took over the French model of the "Yellow Walls" movement and blocked one of the most important highways in Poland, wearing reflective vests, such demonstrations being announced in Croatia, reports the Juana.com and Ana news site, writes Media-fax. Protesters in Poland ask the authorities to find solutions to existing problems, especially for African swine fever. Polish farmers are demanding compensation for animals that have died affected by African swine fever. They also proposed to the Government to establish rules for the cataloging of agricultural products by the flag of the country in which it was produced and to carry out quality controls.

Similar events were also announced in Croatia, where a group of activists informed Saturday that protests would take place in several cities across the country. The "Yellow Wings - Croatia" group urged Croats who are not happy with the economic and social situation to come out on the streets in the capital, Zagreb and other Croatian cities.

Protesters of the 'yellow reflective jacket' movement, named after the extremely visible safety shields that French drivers must have in the car, broke out in November in France because of fuel prices. French President Emmanuel Macron made a speech before the nation, in which he spoke about the huge wave of social protests of the "yellow jackets" that shook the country. The French leader said he "decreed a state of economic and social emergency."

So dangerous is the blind spot

The children of the elementary school Holst learned on Tuesday what is a blind spot and how they can protect themselves in traffic. Experts from the Debra and the traffic guard gave them tips. Wear a reflective vest or reflective tape when going out, especially at night.

In the middle of the playground of the elementary school, Holst is a big yellow truck parked. Seven-year-old Silas climbs down the steps of the driver's door. He has just experienced what a blind spot is. "When I sat in the driver's seat, I could not see my classmates on the other side," says the elementary student.

Exactly this message want experts of the Debra, the police and the traffic guard Hanover boys and girls convey. "We sensitize the children to the dangers on the way to school to avoid accidents," says accident analyst Marco Heisenberg of the Debra. Therefore, the experts have joined forces to clarify nationwide about the risks of turning - patron of the action is Transport Minister Andre's Herschel.

For the elementary students in Holst Heisenberg had some helpful tips. Thus bright and reflective clothing is the first step in order to be better recognized by other road users. In addition, he advised the children to make eye contact with truck drivers and in case of the doubt despite the right of way to wait until it was past them. "It's not about getting there fast, but sure," said the expert.
